This position analyzes financial results, develops reports, communicates results to company leadership, participates in the budgeting and forecasting activities and supports the month-end closing processes.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements
  • Supports the development of annual budgets and monitoring adherence to the budget by comparison of actual to budget, providing reports to management
  • Use data and analytical skills to generate insightful information to facilitate and support financial analysis and decision-making
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, external accountants, and others in a courteous and professional manner
  • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, company policies, work procedures, and instructions
  • Provide necessary bank related financial reporting, as required
  • Supply necessary information to audit firm for completion of year-end audit, corporate tax and government audits
  • Team member will perform other duties as assigned from time to time including, but not limited to:
    • The Financial Reporting Analyst participates in special projects as necessary
    • The Financial Reporting Analyst occasionally travels in the tri-state area
    • The Financial Reporting Analyst performs other duties as assigned from time to time

Schedule Expectations

  • 40 hours per week

Education & Experience Requirements

  • BS in Accounting or Finance. MBA preferred
  • Must have 5+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience
  • Strong general ledger knowledge
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, collaborating in a multi-cultural environment
  • Self-motivation, passion and extraordinary initiative are highly desired
  • Retail business background preferred
  • Crystal Reporting experience would be a plus
  • PowerBI or Data Warehouse Reporting experience preferred
