Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing accounting staff such as: VP of Finance, controllers, payroll specialists.  They will be responsible for responsible for analyzing and reviewing financial data, reporting financial performance, preparing budgets, and monitoring expenditures and costs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive the company’s financial planning
  • Budgeting, forecasting, writing business proposals, auditing, supervising cash, reviewing Bank Requisition, payroll, bonuses, reconciliation of company credit cards
  • Presenting information on earnings calls
  • Overseeing all company expenses: rent, vehicles, utilities, office supplies, office equipment, inventory
  • Preparing and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Manage company’s finance IT systems
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
  • Supervise all finance personnel
  • Assist with evaluating organization’s capital structure
  • Perform risk management by analyzing organization’s liabilities and investments

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
  • Recent SEC experience preferably with a publicly traded company
  • Experience within healthcare or pharmaceutical companies
  • In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers
  • CPA is a strong advantage
  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
  • Must always demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality
