Jay Vora is an Audit Manager in the Financial Services Group, with over five years of experience in areas of public and private accounting. He provides accounting and auditing services to hedge funds, fund of funds and private equity funds. Jay also has experience with employee benefit plan audits.
Jay supports plan sponsors and fiduciaries as they navigate the unique requirements of ERISA and to efficiently and accurately manage audits for all types of employee benefit and welfare benefit plans, including 401(k)s, 11-Ks, ESOPs, defined benefit and 403(b) plans.
Jay’s previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Manager with an international accounting firm, where he was involved in statutory audits and audit engagements for SEC registrants, which included media companies, outsourcing companies, IT companies, shipping companies and retail industry. Jay has also worked on projects related to securities offerings for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) and London Stock Exchange (LSE), including issuing comfort letters.
Jay is a contributor to the firm’s Employment Benefit Plan blog: Special Retirement Plan Provisions Under the CARES Act. He also assists in the training of staff through EisnerAmper University on topics related to pension plan audits.
