Nonprofit organizations provide an essential service to our communities. Given their unique, mission based goals, the existence of fraud in an organization could damage its reputation, which in turn could impact its very existence. This course will provide an overview of the types of fraud that impact nonprofit organizations, personal experiences on fraud and lessons learned and best practice prevention and detection controls to limit their exposure.

Learning Objectives:
To provide an overview of the types of fraud that impact nonprofit organizations and to provide best practices to limit possible exposure to fraud.
