November 23, 2020
The 2020 Alternative Investment Summit closed with a fireside chat with EisnerAmper CEO Charles Weinstein interviewing Donna Brazile, Founder of Brazile and Associates, LLC, and the former Chair of the Democratic National Committee; and Karen Hughes, Worldwide Vice Chair, Burson Cohn & Wolfe, who served as counselor to former U.S. President George W. Bush and Undersecretary of the State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs. The trio discussed the 2020 U.S. presidential election and what may lie ahead for the country and world.
Donna and Karen share a personal anecdote about Ruth Bader Ginsburg or ways in which the Supreme Court judge has inspired them.

Karen, you have been called one of the most powerful women to ever serve in the White House. What advice do you have for women who struggle to break the glass ceiling?
Were you both always this confident and comfortable? Were there points in your career where you had doubts because of obstacles you faced?
More than ever in today’s environment, business leaders need to be prepared to handle crises and quickly adapt to the unexpected. What lessons have you learned about staying calm in the chaos from your previous and current roles?
