Doug Kositzke


Doug Kositzke is a Tax Director with more than 30 years of experience, including both public accounting and industry. Doug is a well-rounded tax professional who specializes in business taxation, international tax, income tax provisions, and working with complex businesses, such as multinational, multistate, consolidated corporations.

Doug works hard to help his clients minimize their taxes and keep tax risk manageable, as well as solve their problems and educate them. Using his past experience as an adjunct accounting professor, he takes the time to communicate tax information and issues to clients in a non-technical way. Doug has worn many hats helping businesses grow and resolving their tax issues along the way.

Prior to joining the firm, Doug was a director and tax training leader at Lurie LLP, a Minneapolis-based accounting and advisory firm, which provided clients with solutions in accounting, audit, tax planning, wealth management and advisory services, serving business leaders in a wide variety of industries including health care, professional services, technology, manufacturing, real estate and more.
