David Smith Named Co-Chair of the Matrimonial Disputes Practice for EisnerAmper’s Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services Group
EisnerAmper announced that David Smith, CPA, ABV, CFF, ASA will Co-Chair the Matrimonial Disputes practice for the firm’s Forensic, Litigation and Valuation Services Group.
David is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA). He specializes in providing litigation support, damage analysis, forensic accounting, and business valuation services to a diverse group of attorneys in matrimonial, commercial and other civil disputes and government proceedings. He has testified on numerous occasions in state and federal court on a wide variety of matters. David’s experience includes matrimonial issues, disputes involving shareholder actions, breach of contract, business interruption, dealer termination, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, usurpation of corporate opportunity, class actions, insurance claims, patent infringement and construction claims, among various other disputes.

David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountant (NJSCPA) and the American Society of Appraisers (ASA). In addition, David was selected to serve on the Supreme Court of New Jersey District VIII Ethics Committee for the 2015-2016 term.
