David S. Gibson

David Gibson is a Tax Partner, and a member of the Private Client Services Group, with over 30 years of public accounting experience. He has significant involvement with the tax planning, and management and business advisory services for various privately and publicly held clients, in addition to high net worth individual clients.

Dave’s expertise encompasses S corporation and C corporation taxation, partnership income taxation, and individual taxation. He also has past experience with publicly held clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Dave was a Partner at the accounting firm Imowitz Koenig & Co., LLP (IK), and real estate fund advisory firm Real Estate Systems Implementation Group, LLC (RESIG), where he was responsible for several large corporate and individual clients and a number of partnership clients.

As an active member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), Dave is a past Chairman of its Closely Held and S Corporations Committee. He is a frequent writer and speaker on various tax topics.
