Christopher Park

Christopher Park is a Partner in the firm’s National Office of Professional Practice, with over 15 years of experience in both public and private accounting. Chris supports the firm’s assurance practice in the areas of accounting and financial reporting, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting matters, auditing and attestation standards, and continuous improvement in audit quality. He also provides technical guidance to engagement teams and professionals, develops and disseminates topic-specific guidance about emerging technical and professional issues, and assists with firm and engagement issues pertaining to compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Additionally, Chris has significant experience assisting clients with complex accounting and reporting issues related to revenue recognition, business combinations and financing transactions as well as Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance and SEC reporting matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a Senior Manager with a Big 4 accounting firm. He provided audit services for both multinational SEC and non-public clients in the industrial products, retail and consumer and automotive industries reporting under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS.

Chris is a contributor to the firm website and written an article on the AICPA Releases Guidance on Borrower Accounting for PPP Loans.
