EisnerAmper and the California Hedge Fund Association co-hosted the 1st Annual California Spring Fling last Thursday evening, welcoming nearly 200 alternative investment professionals to the firm’s offices overlooking the San Francisco Bay. The event attracted a range of investors and managers -- ranging from start-ups to established -- among others, who mingled over cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres.

“EisnerAmper was honored to team up with the California Hedge Fund Association to co-host,” said John M. Williamson, Partner-In-Charge of the firm’s San Francisco office. “We wanted to provide a forum where alternative investment professionals throughout California can come together and exchange ideas in an open and relaxed setting. We are excited to have received such a positive turnout during our first event and are already looking forward to the next one.”

Discussions touched on a number of hot topics, including how managers in the city can raise assets, along with the ongoing interest in liquid alternatives, and finally, how women in the alternative investment industry in the Bay area can come together through the San Francisco-based Association of Women in Alternative Investing and network with each other and trade ideas.
