Biography
Ben Feldman is a Tax Senior in the firm's real estate group. His experience encompasses a broad spectrum of real estate-related tax compliance issues, including partnership tax, REIT qualification, state and local tax compliance, and foreign withholding issues.
Ben's clients include family-owned real estate companies, large-scale public and private REITs, and private equity funds. In addition, he also provides personalized tax support to individuals within the real estate sector.
Prior to joining the firm, Ben was an integral member of a global consulting firm, where he honed his skills in tax compliance and consulting for real estate entities, including REITs, real estate funds, and debt funds. He also gained extensive experience in the unique complexities of mortgage REITs, and provided guidance on structuring and SALT and foreign withholding issues.
