Amy Menist

Amy Menist is an Audit Senior in the firms Real Estate Services Group and the Construction Services Group, with over 10 years of accounting experience serving both public and private companies. She provides audit services to the real estate and constructions industry including commercial and residential real estate companies and has experience working with publicly traded REITs. Amy assists clients in all phases of the audit process including planning, organization, testing, and review.

Prior to joining the firm, Amy was a Bookkeeper with a real estate management and development company where she prepared and analyzed quarterly and annual financial statements, and assured GAAP compliance by working directly with auditors. She created “AIA” progress billings, as well as monthly and annual invoices for Common Area Maintenance (CAM), real estate tax, insurance, and rent. Amy managed the company’s’ accounts payable and all cash activity.

Amy has contributed to articles that address ESG and its impacts on the real estate industry for professional organizations and business owners.

Currently, Amy is pursuing a certificate in real estate finance from New York University’s, Shack Institute of Real Estate.
