Biography

Alexander Powell in an Audit Manager with over five years of experience in public accounting. Alex is responsible for all phases of the audit, including planning, organization, supervision, and review of the fieldwork.

Alex serves commercial entities, including manufacturing and distribution technology, and real estate. He also has experience with employee benefit plan (401k, 403b) audits with preparation and compilation of planning financial statements, revenue recognition, and business acquisitions and combinations.

Alex assists in internal training for staff on topics of audit including professional skepticism on auditing, risk-based audit process and AU Section 314 and 315 (understanding the entity and its environment and assessing the risks). He is also involved in the mentoring staff and recruitment of new employees.
