Laura Macca, EisnerAmper’s National Director of Business Transformation, was appointed to the IRS Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC). She is serving a three-year term that began in September 2019.

ETAAC is a nine-member group that discusses issues related to electronic tax administration. Its mission is to help prevent ID theft and refund fraud in support of paperless filing of tax and information returns. Established in 1998, the committee includes state tax officials, consumer advocates, cybersecurity and IT specialists, tax preparers, tax software developers and representatives of the financial community.

Laura, with more than 20 years of experience, works with the EisnerAmper’s tax, information technology, and innovation team leadership and employees to identify future tax technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains, and application of tax process and technology best practices.

“Laura is a great addition to this prestigious committee,” said Michael Laveman, Co-Leader of EisnerAmper’s Tax Practice. “She has dedicated her career to improving the practice of taxation through innovation, and her results have greatly benefitted accounting firms and clients alike. We wish her and all of the committee members nothing but success.”
