Job #1867: Founding Member and Manager - NY (4/14/2023)

· As an auditor in financial services, your responsibilities will include scheduling and managing engagements, assigning and supervising staff, developing and managing budgets, reviewing the work of the team, coordinating and reviewing financial statements, providing excellent client service and relationship management, meeting deadlines, developing/coaching staff, performance evaluations, etc.

· MUST have 6-10 years of experience with hedge fund or hedge fund of funds accounting or audit, including having experience reviewing the work of others. While prior hedge fund or fund of funds audit experience would be great, this firm will also consider candidates with experience in hedge fund accounting from fund administrators, hedge funds, or C Suite outsourcing firms. Must be willing to get CPA if you don’t have it already. Management experience only required for Manager position.

· MUST have experience working with US GAAP; Tax experience is a plus, but not required.

· You are the type of person that is willing to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty, even if you are a manager; you have excellent attention to detail, verbal/written communication skills, and client service skills; you are honest, go above and beyond, take pride in your work, are a person of your word, and can multitask

· Strong technology skills (Excel pivot tables, V/HLOOKUPS), etc.

· Bachelors Degree required, CPA a plus (must desire/ be willing to get CPA if you don’t have one now (if additional accounting classes are needed, note that there is a tuition reimbursement benefit at the firm)

· Position can be hybrid in NY, CT and FL, or REMOTE from many states in the USA as well! Will also consider hiring non-permanent US residents that are in the US working with certain visas and take over sponsorship.
