POSITION OVERVIEW

Bridgepoint Consulting is seeking a private equity business development professional to represent our firm across venture funds, private equity groups, family offices and C-suite executives. The director will be responsible for building relationships in our vast network of current clients and our database of target accounts. As a member of the business development team, you will draw upon your personal experience managing business opportunities and workflows using a CRM system. Ideal candidates have business development experience with professional services or experience providing financial, consulting or management services to venture funds, private equity groups, and family offices.

 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

Leverage our network of current clients and our database of target accounts to build, strengthen and nurture relationships Implement workflows and manage business opportunities through a CRM system, and build efficiencies for business development process through automation Be accountable for meeting and exceeding quotas for business development outreach Network and collaborate with industry specialists regularly Seek event-based networking opportunities and work with marketing to align messaging and collateral for event Work autonomously, defining and accomplishing own objectives Travel 60% of the time to discover new relationships and nurture existing relationships Represent the company professionally and positively in all interactions, including networking events and other activities outside of normal business hours

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

5 - 7 years of business development experience providing financial, consulting, or management services to venture funds, private equity firms, and family offices A full range of business development tactics and tools at their disposal, including sales and marketing, account management, prospecting, cold calling, and social media Effective communication skills and demonstrated proficiency in English writing Creative skills and a resourceful attitude Proven performance in managing and growing business relationships Experience engaging directly with business, financial, and corporate leaders Excellent organizational and time management skills A strong understanding of M&A, pre/post-merger integration, ERP implementation, optimization, restructuring, and finance

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Renumeration – Base salary commensurate with experience plus commissions Location – NY, CT, NJ, MA
